Noise rock, hard rock, the damned of MPB, 70’s punk rock, heavy metal… this is the base of Seu Juvenal. Writing songs between rock n’ roll and the contemporary MPB, Seu Juvenal walks inside the independent Brazilian music scene always pursuing to make an authentic work. After some demos and participations at alternative festivals records, in the middle of 2004 the band releases their first independent album called “Guitarra de Pau Seco” (Guitar of Dry Wood). It has 12 songs that illustrate well the history of the band until that moment. Nowadays the band is formed by musicians who make others artistic works: Mendigo Project (soundtracks), Olorum (thrash metal/hardcore) Cachorros Mortos (punk rock), Caixa Preta (audiovisual). All of this has been proportionate to Seu Juvenal a sound maturity pursued by the years. Seu Juvenal has just recorded and produced their new album, called “Caixa Preta”(Black Box). It has 09 songs composed by the band and recorded at their own home-studio, in the city of Ouro Preto (where part of the band lives now), in Minas Gerais state, Brazil. In this way, they continue their saga. It already last more than 10 noisy years….
